Super EE and Super Kigali in: for the Kigali Amendment’s strength! – Part 1

Super EE, the heroine of energy efficience, is back in a new adventure and this time she’s not alone! She’s counting on the help of Super Kigali!
That’s right. Chico, the protagonist of the animated film Kigalinha, has become a superhero, Super Kigali!

In this adventure, Super Kigali will help Super EE tackle a problem involving a pair of air conditioners. These devices will try to prevent the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, which has been in effect in Brazil since August 25, 2023, from taking effect.

Air conditioners contain greenhouse gases with a high global warming potential, thousands of times greater than that of the main greenhouse gas, CO2 (carbon dioxide). These gases are precisely the target of the Kigali Amendment and their consumption will be cut by 80% by 2045.
