Artigo contribui com informações técnicas para subsidiar o estabelecimento de padrões de eficiência energética para refrigeradores. Resultados experimentais realizados pelo estudo validaram as recomendações feitas. Trabalho foi apresentado na Itália no EEDAL’03.

The main objective of this study is to provide technical background to support the establishment of energy efficiency standards for refrigerators in Brazil. The technical improvements suggested in the present study were evaluated in an experimental setup available in a specialized refrigeration laboratory.
